Starting with next-generation sequencing (NGS) can seem intimidating. The Illumina New to NGS campaign was designed to empower young researchers to start their journey with the support of core labs. The campaign acknowledges that many researchers know what NGS is, but don’t know how it could apply to their research, or even where to begin. It lets graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, or those who are earlier on in their career know that there are resources available to help them conduct experiments and analyze results whenever they’re ready. Illumina is positioned as the facilitator of this mutually beneficial relationship and a trusted, supporting partner for those who want to try NGS and take their research higher.
